Natty Ramos
Sitio Bagong Barrio, Malweg, Victoria, Tarlac

Natty Ramos had always wanted to expand her simple sari-sari store business but didn't know quite how to. Then she attended a BridgeCom sa Bayan training session organized by Globe in partnership with ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation.

Natty was able to expand her business into gasoline retailing. She also went into selling vegetables, palay, and even school supplies during the months of May and June. She says that because of her entrepreneurial ability, she was able to send her daughter to school. Now, her daughter has a family of her own and is successful in her chosen field.

Natty also believes that going into business gave her the discipline needed to run her personal life. While she now receives financial support from her daughter, Natty opts to keep her business running and has even found a new advocacy: taking care of abandoned children. She and her husband have adopted a young boy.

As with other members of ABS-CBN Bayan Women microentrepreneurs, she is very much thankful to Globe for the support the company has extended to people like her. She intends to expand her gasoling retailing station next year, this time by procuring the gasoline directly from the source instead of buying it from other retailers in the city proper.
